A small pump (about the size of a nickel) is sufficient for face and neck. PURE lathers gently — don't over-pump. More product doesn't equal cleaner skin.
If you wear heavy makeup or SPF, a double cleanse is recommended: first cleanse with an oil-based cleanser to dissolve makeup and sunscreen, then second cleanse with PURE for a thorough yet gentle final clean.
PURE is gentle enough for use around the eye area. Avoid direct contact with eyes. For heavy eye makeup, use a dedicated eye makeup remover first.
Hot water strips the skin barrier, cold water doesn't rinse well. Lukewarm is the ideal balance for maintaining skin barrier integrity while thoroughly rinsing cleanser residue.
